Hi! I’m Nadia — virtual assistant, NDIS support coordinator, and founder of Stardust Support Services.

Stardust was born in May 2023, after I was diagnosed with ADHD at the ripe age of 37, and spent a year seeing the same thing over and over — other late diagnosed adults feeling judged, unseen and unsupported in the things that everyone else seemed to find so “easy”.

So I got to work creating Australia’s first VA service that specialises in helping folks tackle the absolute beast that is modern life admin.

Like most of us, receiving my ADHD diagnosis was like finding out I’d been playing the game of life on hard mode. Suddenly a whole lot of things just made sense.

I’d been trying to squeeze myself into a mould that was entirely the wrong shape. There was a reason I was exhausted right down to my bones, and why I never quite fit in anywhere.

I’ve since been diagnosed with Autism, and a whole bunch of chronic illnesses, which has completely reshaped how I think about capacity, energy, and our basic human needs.

Living in a body that doesn’t always cooperate has only reinforced why flexible, compassionate support — and good information — matters so much.

The drive to not only support but surround myself with people like me has led Stardust into directions I never expected, and it’s been such an incredible, often surreal journey.

It started as a Google Sheet and a dream, and quickly became something bigger. I soon had a whole team of VAs offering support that reached hundreds of people across Australia and New Zealand.

These days it’s just me again (with the exception of my Office Manager, Lainie — pictured looking very smug in her desk-bed) so that I can provide truly personalised support, while honouring my own capacity.

Stardust has become so much more than life admin support. I’m working on new resources and ways to make my services more accessible, and I’ll be launching neurodivergent-specific VA mentorship in the coming months to encourage more people to do what I do, and do it well.
